Most empowering would be the super gravity gun in Half-Life 2.

I couldn't find decent screencaps of these "weapons", so I found one that consolidates them both into one picture of awesome (even though it's edited).

The weapons in Mega Man X and X2 are pretty awesome (most of them at least), but none hold a candle to the special Street Fighter II moves found in each one. One hit boss kills? Yes please.



PS - too bad there wasn't a hurricane kick one for Mega Man X3.

The Swarm-Bore is an alternate fire-mode for the Rocket Launcher. It fires 5 bores that drill into each joint of the body like the legs, arms and head. It evicts massive amounts of blood before detonating causing a very gory explosion when the skull gets detonated. It is useful against every Sleg type other than a Purlinn which is far too large for effective use.
