The Wrestling Thread
Re: The Wrestling Thread
You know what would be freaking awesome is that WWE let's you play all or any wrestling games from WWE, Wcw, and ecw. Think of playing wwf games from 8 bit to now same for the ecw games and wcw games like Wcw revenge on your ps3 or 360. All the arcade games also. That would be great.

Re: The Wrestling Thread
I would love it if the WWE Network had the old Superstars, Wrestling Challenge, and WCW Saturday Night shows.
Re: The Wrestling Thread
You know I haven't watched wrestling or a full raw in about 8 years. But I do keep up to date with wrestling new updates and other sites. I do talk to a few people who watch it regularly at work and we all agree that McMahon should split his company and bring back the territories. It would never happen but bringing back wcw and wccw, awa, nwa, would help the wrestlers like all the old timers say who lived in the territories.
I wish there was just more than one organization to watch. Well at least we have youtube to watch the von erics vs the freebirds.

I am not sure what is wrong with people in the wrestling industry today. It seems just too easy to put on a good show, but they keep doing stuff that is so bad it makes fans stop watching. I remember , IIRC back in late '09, when Hogan and Bischoff were going to come on the TNA team and turn it around and Hogan used to rip Vince or WWE posters I think... yeah right.

I really agree with you on this. Good booking is a simple matter of common sense. ANYONE with half a brain can do it, but for some reason it seems that only the dumbest people on the planet get hired on creative in TNA and WWE. Every day I hear just regular, everyday people come up with ideas that are FAR better than the crap we actually see in TNA and WWERCBH928 wrote:jmbarnes101 wrote:TNA tonight, especially the last match, was a complete and utter piece of crap. If I was running WWE, Cena would be heel, Bryan would be champ right now, Punk would have had a streak vs streak match with Undertaker last Wrestlemania, Lesnar would be having a Rumble match with Henry instead of Big Show because Henry plays a better bad ass than Show and has a more consistent character than Show(he's also better on the mic), there would be NO dissension in The Shield right now because Reigns isn't ready, Big E would not be getting pushed because he's boring, Del Rio would have been fired already because he was boring since day one, I'd have REAL wrestlers in the Divas division (where the hell is Karma? Why hasn't Paige been called up? Why isn't Sara Del Rey wrestling on WWE TV?), The McMahons would NEVER be on TV(that includes Triple H whose only talent in life right now is burying people), Sheamus would be fired because he's boring, Sandow would be a main eventer right now and would not have lost his money in the bank cash in match, Ziggler would be a main eventer, Wade Barrett would be a main eventer instead of doing this stupid Bad News gimmick, Kali would be fired because he's a waste of a paycheck and we've already got Santino for comedy, Antonio Cesara would be IC champ as a babyface and no longer wasting his time in a tag team with that sack of shit Jack Swagger, I could go on and on.

The craziest thing is that they're having a title unification match, with a long-missing fan-favorite in the match at that, ON FREE T.V.!!! Did they learn nothing from the WELL-DOCUMENTED mistakes WCW made? This is like Hogan vs. Goldberg on Nitro all over again!RCBH928 wrote:jmbarnes101 wrote:TNA tonight, especially the last match, was a complete and utter piece of crap. I'm done with them.

Re: The Wrestling Thread
The Uso's??? Really? Bray and the Wyatt Family having lost to the Uso's twice and now the Bryan turn. Nice job killing any heat they had and now killing that storyline. That Bryan storyline sure played itself out. What was it, 2 weeks? Way to let it breathe. New Age Outlaws turned on Punk. Why? What was the point? No Brock sucks. Big Show decimating The Real Americans was pointless and punching Colter makes him look like a weenie.

Re: The Wrestling Thread
They've killed Abyss, AJ is nowhere, and they have what 15 actual wrestlers on their roster? 8-10 of which work for Dixie. Who's Magnus actually going to fight? Can they bring back Jarrett or hire Heyman to run this thing since at this point it's on life support. I can only hope JJ and his country singing buddy actually open a new promotion and not lose it this time because TNA and WWE both suck.BurningDoom wrote:The craziest thing is that they're having a title unification match, with a long-missing fan-favorite in the match at that, ON FREE T.V.!!! Re: The Wrestling Thread
Great post. This summed up my thoughts too, and is why I've finally given up on wrestling. I'd much rather spend an hour on Youtube watching old episodes of Raw than the crap 3 hour nonsense that's on now. Even when WWE was suffering in the Cena/Orton era when those two headlined near enough every event (I think 2009-2010 era) there was always something interesting like Nexus, or CM Punk to tune in for. I've not watched it since The Rock won the title as it was such a strung out, heavily milked feud with Cena that I just didn't give two shits by the time he fought Punk. 2013 was the first year I've not watched ANY WWE, since like 1999 when I first got in to it (having been a Nitro fan). It's a damn shame.Gamerforlife wrote:I really agree with you on this. Good booking is a simple matter of common sense. I also gave up on TNA when Hogan was opening every show. I don't need to see Hogan's bingo-wings on my TV, get the wrestlers back. Dixie and Hogan have destroyed Jeff's hard work. Again, a damn shame.
