Ah yeah, Road Rage! I loved that game, put a hell of a lot of time into it.BurningDoom wrote:I can never play the game for long-periods of time. It's great in short bursts, but it gets repetitive fast.CFFJR wrote:
It would help a lot if the game had more than 4 songs.
I love the Offspring and always have, yet I still get a bit bored of the music after playing Crazy Taxi for a bit.
I got more enjoyment out the Simpsons' rip-off game anyways, just because the Simpsons fan in me would get a little giddy about seeing this or that around town.
How is your Dreamcast gaming going on?

I like all the inside jokes in Simpsons Road Rage. I had a nerdgasm when I saw the Stonecutters secret entrance into the nuclear plant. The only disappointing thing was that gas and brake are mapped to the face buttons instead of the trigger buttons. There's even a part in the tutorial where part explains that the gas and brake are "exactly like every other driving game" which embittered me just a bit.CFFJR wrote:Ah yeah, Road Rage! Whats wrong with the deftones? If I ever need to get ready for the gym I put deftones or disturbed to get that last set in on the weights.Ack wrote:At least it's not Deftones?BoneSnapDeez wrote:Least surprising comments from this thread: noise is "getting back into" the Dreamcast after taking a hiatus.

I played the 360 lego batman game and I got bored after 1/2 hr playing it. Went back to the dreamcast to play some more of kof 2002 and ready to rumble, tennis 2k2 and maybe finish off a few rounds of Capcom vs snk. Haven't played that game in a while.
The thing that sucks is that I own a vga cord and my tv supports it but makes the screen small and if I adjust it then I see only half the screen so I guess I have to stick with s video till I find a computer screen cheap. Maybe at the thrift store. I know they sell them for 10.00 or so

How much is a CIB Dreamcast that has been modded to be region free worth?

Nice pickup on 18 Wheeler there. I've played the arcade game enough -- does the DC port have any original features?
Simpsons Hit & Run is where its at for exploring Springfield. Plus, the difficulty ramps up pretty good near the end! (but that's not DC-related)

What? I don't like The Offspring, but their music in Crazy Taxi (along with Bad Religion, who I do like) is pretty catchy and I just generally love it.Ack wrote:At least it's not Deftones?BoneSnapDeez wrote:Least surprising comments from this thread: noise is "getting back into" the Dreamcast after taking a hiatus.

As for Deftones... Well I should just make you wash out your mouth with soap for saying that

Or in the trash found a NEC multisync in pristine mint condition with a paper that said take me. Along with it where some Altec Lansing speakers. With VGA power plugs and all. I though no way this works. Both worked like a charm.mas wrote:Whats wrong with the deftones?
