Not a good sales practice. You only color correct the most expensive tv's so you can show customers why it's worth the extra money.

Sound shady?

I don't know many stores that do use that technique for an up sell.
Well the company decided to fire me for not working on a Sunday, even though it was in my contract that I do not and I was #7 in the company, they then had a 30% decline in sales in the Atlanta market and eventually filed chapter 11.

That's when you use cheap cables and half assed connections. Or use coaxial on the cheap tvs and hdmi connections on the expensive ones.

Partly though, it's a matter of environment. The dedicated home theater sections, like the Magnolia stuff at Best Buy, tend to be in a separate area with better lighting.

Bah, you can push more data down coax than HDMI.

To put it mildly, yes. And if he does happen to be involved in this particular scandal(not saying one way or the other, as I haven't been following it), then he deserves what he gets.

That scandal is baffling on so many levels. Ultra dangerous if word gets out, virtually no actual benefit if it doesn't. What's the point? Who on earth would ever think something like that was a good idea?

I have NPR as my background noise, and so far all I know is "bridge", "email", "5th amendment", "Chis Crisis!", etc.

In short, did he get caught with his hand in the cookie jar or something else?

The gist of it from what I understand: basically emails that were uncovered revealed that a couple of Chris Christie's top aides had worked to arrange the closure of several lanes on Washington Bridge in order to cause severe traffic problems (severe as in school delays, emergency vehicles had trouble getting around, etc) as a way of spiting a mayor of a small town who didn't support Christie.

Has anyone here volunteered at a police department? I have to get my hours in to graduate. This is one of my options and was wondering what exactly you do.
