that's my guess too. That boss is a dick. I ended up just doing some solo grinding last night since no one was around to help me with him. I didn't even attempt it on my own. I did manage to gain another level though, and monogrinded my rifle up to +3. So that's something.

Knowing your tastes, this isn't good news for me. I didn't pay much (came in a big bundled box), but I should have known from not liking Phantasy Star 0.

Ive jsut been levelling in the mines and doing side quests in the forest until someone can come online and help me with the caves boss too. If you havent done it by this weekend, I'll join you in giving it a beat down.

I'm 5 levels higher with much bigger defence than I was when it one shotted me before. I'm hoping I can take at least one hit this time.


Hit level 17 tonight. MAG is level 32, so almost evolving time. As soon as I can afford Reverser for reviving people I feel pretty good about where I'm at.
