No. The only controllers that are typically more rare are the Millenium Collection controller, which to my knowledge were Japan Exclusive. Color Variants as well are usually a few bucks more expensive.

in all honesty, the PAL controllers seem super common now. I think there was tons of stock. I think even the RB store carried them for a while, and my local shop always has a couple brand new.

DC has a ton of controller variants.

Translucent yellow is the rarest of the non-specific translucents.

There are the DC direct exclusives which do $30-50.

Then there are all the console specifics: bio-hazard, hello kitty, etc and even those have variants.

The worst part is, it's such a terrible controller...

you really think so? I'm surprised. I don't know. I kind of love it. It looks crazy, but it has good weight, the analog stick is nice, the buttons feel good. The dpad is small, I'll give you that. And the triggers are just so-so. But I'm a fan. I wish more controllers had the wire coming out of the bottom actually.

hate wire coming out the bottom - hate / loathe / despise. Creating a problem where one didn't exist.

You like that Analog stick? compared to the stock N64, maybe, I guess, but it doesn't hold up well at all.

The SAT model 2 pads hold up today and are still comfortable and accurate. DC, yech.

Saturn pad kills everything. But that's 2D.

For 3D, I hate N64, you know that. I like DC a lot. A lot.

Modern day, 360 is my fav.

360 is exceptional. Kills PS3. Wii add-on controller pro is ok, but it has to be black snake moaned to a wiimote which is just miserable.

as long as we agree on 360. A lot of people hate the 360 dpad. Doesn't bother me at all, and truthfully I use it for a lot of shmups even. Love 360 layout though.

same and agree 100%. It's a great pad. I hear PS4's pad closed the gap a bit this gen, but last gen isn't close for comfort or convenience. 360 is a great shmup pad for sure.

Thoughts on comfort of Gamecube Controller? Exclude the c-button. I've always felt the R and L buttons make the Gamecube controller one of the most comfortable to use.
