They have sewage systems and water works in India. Of course rural cities don't but the area which this river is located isn't rural by any means. If you make and regulate laws prohibiting the disposal of chemicals and dead corpses that solves half the problem. Then all they have to do is worry about getting the river clean. That's most likely not going to happen due to the fact that it going to cost billions to clean and laws would be hard to make as religion has a lot to do with the pollution. I do agree that hygiene is more prevalent in the West. A lot of that is due to the fact that the average person is just too poor or uneducated.General_Norris wrote:It's not a matter of regulation, most of the India simply doesn't have any kind of modern waterworks or sewage systems in place nor is there a culture of hygiene like we have in the West.

Can you store cooked soba noodles cold over night, or would they just go hard or clump together?

Yes. You can store them overnight in a sealed container. Just add some water to them before bringing them back up to temperature (presumably in a microwave) or before stir-frying them (if you are doing something a little fancier).alienjesus wrote:Can you store cooked soba noodles cold over night, or would they just go hard or clump together?

Would they be OK to eat cold after storage? I'm trying to come up with ideas for lunches for work. I have some leftover stir fry to use up.prfsnl_gmr wrote:Yes. They should be fine. If you know that you will be bringing them into work, however, I would try to make them into some sort of pasta salad the night before so that they taste better. (I do not think that cold soba noodles would taste very good by themselves.)alienjesus wrote:Would they be OK to eat cold after storage? I'm trying to come up with ideas for lunches for work. Apparently, one of the Satanic churches is petitioning for a statue of Baphomet (with a lap you can sit it!) to be placed opposite the Ten Commandments monument at the state capital.

yeah I've been following the case closely, it is fascinating on several levels.Forlorn Drifter wrote:Apparently, one of the Satanic churches is petitioning for a statue of Baphomet (with a lap you can sit it!) to be placed opposite the Ten Commandments monument at the state capital.
Here's the proposed kickass monument:

Any one know if there will be releases of 4K movies in the future of past films? Because I see this 4K tv this is moving forward and seeing the pattern of VHS -> DVD -> Bluray , I am guessing there will be a ->4K and those who collect movies will have to repurchase again...
Or is it that past films were never shot in 4K resolution so its impossible to have that just like how its impossible to have HD of TV shows shot on tape ?

A lot of current blu ray releases of old films were scanned in and restored at 2K, 4K, and even 8K anyway, they could easily just pull up those masters.RCBH928 wrote: Or is it that past films were never shot in 4K resolution so its impossible to have that just like how its impossible to have HD of TV shows shot on tape ?
