There's already a Halo game on the Xbone? Didn't Halo 4 come out like last year?

It's a twin-stick shooter, not a typical Halo game

I looked it up. It's some spin off game that came out already for PC and 360 last year and received mediocre reviews. [Edit: Sorry, WILL be released for 360.]

I think there is a good reason for that.

1) The Wii U is lacking in hardware(by comparison) , so they should make up for it by the games but that didn't really happen .

2) Wii Last year or 2 were dry, Wii U launch is dry too . Its like a void . In comparison PS3 is releasing the best of games like The Last of US and GTA 5 month away from PS4 launch. So no one feels there is a gap, but the title people are done with the last good stuff on ps3 the good stuff from ps4 will be out.

3) Both PS4/XOne future is filled with possibility of newer bigger badder games like Destiny and Titanfall . On the Wii U side, I am not sure whats promised in the future. I didn't hear of anything but we would get the usual Mario platformer, Paper Mario, Mario Party, Mario Kart... you know the drill .

That is my opinion of why this is happening.

I don't know what to say, I love my Wii U, but I guess I can't really dispute the criticism it gets.

Nintendo have put themselves in a difficult position in the console market. The Wii is part genius, part fluke. But because it had such a mainstream level of success outside of core gamers, it became popular with a market that is particularly fickle. The Wii U failed to maintain this audience, so all that is left is the core Nintendo audience and unlike the Gamecube which was in a similar situation, the Wii U is under powered and lacks support to attract other gamers. Gamecube had so much going for it.,

I don't think you can make the claim that the Wii-U has already failed to maintain its audience yet - console sales shot up dramatically with the release of Wind Waker HD, and I'm sure many, many copies were sold. People are waiting for the big titles to come out, not updated versions of games 360/PS3 owners have been playing for the past year and a half.

Chances are that few or none of those launches will sell the system to the non-typical demographics that served to propel the Wii's sales to the level they were. I don't think there's any doubt that the core Nintendo audience just needs stuff like Smash or Mario Kart to justify the system. It's a lot more the folks who bought a Wii for Wii Sports or something, and are now happy playing games on their iPad instead.

So, in that sense, the Wii U has failed to maintain the Wii audience.

Oh hey, I love 2007! Can't wait to get The Orange Box, I've been waiting for a proper console port of HL2 for years.
