It was 55 in here when I woke up. That means I slept like a log under a heavy pile of blankets.

Ticked - Wifes cat is at vet, he has been losing weight, and we are fearful it is his last days.

Smile - One of my reps gave me a brand new Apple TV that he won and does not need

Confused - Being a windows/linux household setup with DLNA to my bluray player, I am not quite sure what to do with it. My three apple products are a two macs are from the 90s - one from 98 the other from 92, my other apple product is a ][+. Airparrot (a mirroring program) for the files that dont like DLNA is the only thing I can think of.

Thought of you last night, actually. Looking at the map, it said Houston was down to 32 when we went to bed at midnight, though that was the windchill map I think.

My father who has lived with this his whole life and the past 2 winters it has worn on him, told me on Sunday he is moving to Athens, GA or Flagstaff, AZ. I smugly let him know that Athens hit -3 wind chill yesterday. (want to keep this dude around 8) )

Is he just a huge Georgia fan, why else would he want to move to Athens? Down the road from it is Buford, which is a MUCH nicer town.

I know all to well what you are going through. My dog Ripley is my best friend, and I have no shame in saying that.

I've always loved dogs, but was also allergic to them. So allergic that I was hospitalized twice as a kid for playing with a dog. Everyone thought me getting Ripley was a terrible idea.

Almost fourteen years later and besides proposing to my wife, getting Ripley has been the best decision I have ever made.

Smile: A few comedians I know got some press on the Chicago Tribune:

"I grew up in the Science Projects" still has me in stitches. What a hilarious premise.

They went online looking for the most popular places to retire the past few years, and apparently Athens, GA was like #4 on the list. Was news to me.

Flagstaff, Scottsdale, Fort Meyers and Athens iirc.

He has no ties to Georgia...or the South. Chicago until his early 20's, then northern Wisconsin the last 35 years.

:D I can finally brush my teeth!

The water pipes in my house froze last night and I've had two space heaters trying to warm them up for the past 2 hours. As I decided to just go about my day and drink some coffee I heard water coming out of all the sinks.

I can't wait for the weekend. It's going to be in the 30's. T-shirt and shorts weather right Mike? That's a 50 degree warm up! That's going to feel amazing.

Editing in another smile.

My upper back is sore as as hell. I started doing weighted pull ups yesterday and man it feels awesome to feel some muscle soreness again.

It was 55 in my apartment this morning as I haven't turned the heat on.
