Price Check On NeoGeo and CPS Gsmes

Post by nullxor »

I have Streetfighter 2 Hyper Fighting, Streetfighter Alpha 2, Super Sidekicks and Puzzle De Pon. I have no idea what these are worth. I got them in a trade but they do work.

I ordered one from Sophia, 4,200 yen ($44 plus shipping & pp fee $29) so $73 shipped.

Mike how do you keep getting good deals from Sophia? They always give me prices WORSE than ebay, are you friends with them or something?

lulz - no, not friends w/them. Are you on the mailing list? Some games are higher, usually shmups or rare platformers, but most are considerably cheaper. MVS stuff is high right now w/all the CMVS's on the market lately, but cps2 / f3 / pgm / pcb are almost all much cheaper. It helps if you are friendly, I guess, you can request no artwork for a few bucks off, depends who you get on whethey they'll do it or not. Of course, buying in bulk is a big part of it as well - shipping is often the biggest hurdle.

Thanks for the info. Is Super Sidekicks really only worth $12 or are these prices the bottom end?

It's an extremely common game w/a poor to fair label. A mint label / mint cart might get $25 from a collector, I haven't seen any forum sales of more than $15 recently. Super Sidekicks and World Heroes are often "throw-in" incentives if someone buys another game, tbh. I got mine for $11 shipped on neo, which means the guy netted $5. If I was selling yours i'd put it at $10 + shipping. You can put $15 + shipping, but it might take awhile to move. It's one of the first games acquired when folks get into MVS, so just not a lot of people looking for it.

Okay I was wondering because I paid $10 extra on the trade for him to throw that game in. Can you explain how I can make the CPS2 game work if I buy the A board? I don't know much about arcade hardware. A guide or website would work.
