Shenmue is boring in retrospect and looks more like an experiment , but we have to look at the time it was released. I never played it back then, but when the best graphics on the market was PSX and GTA3 was still not out, graphics was all the rage, and you get Shenmue ... it makes the top of the list for me.

Some parts are very boring and controls are awkward, but we have to compare it to its competitors back then.

I played it when it was brand-new, on my new Dreamcast. And as slick as it looked, it still bored me to tears back then. Especially when I had Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Soul Calibur, and Marvel vs. Capcom.

I have Shenmue and I can't get into it. But I picked it up for 2 dollars at a crappy flea market so I at least didn't spend that much for it. So many better games for me to play like any 2d fighter series. I gotta ask a question I always hear people talk about 3rd strike but does anyone like the original street fighter 3/double impact? I never hear anyone talk about that game and I like playing it and I think its a great fighter

3rd Strike is just the most complete version. Don't get me wrong, I can play Double Impact and have lots of fun. But I'm gonna have even more fun as Chun-Li.

There's a lot of things to like about Double Impact and reasons to have it in your collection since it's got different music, stages and balance. I really like the New Generation/Second Impact stages personally.

But with fighting games the version with the most characters is going to win, and that's Third Strike of course.

I always liked Mark of the Wolves just a little bit more than SFIII though they unfortunately never got the chance to release the planned updated versions of it to compete.

I've said this countless times, but 3rd Strike and Mark of the Wolves are two of the most perfect fighting games to me. Just stunning.

Also, Capcom Vs. SNK 2 > Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 8)

Just ordered kof 2002 thru amazon. Total was 23.00. For some reason kof 2002 is expensive on ebay. I also got virtua tennis 2k2 for 3.00. Can't wait till play that. Mine was cracked and had to get a new one. One of the best fighting games that I own is a little import called guilty gear x.

Last Blade 2 is also one of my favorites and possibly still my favorite weapon-based fighter. It's a shame the western version got censored.

Whats the difference between the two versions? I own the us version. Is the jpon version a lot better to buy the import?
