I'm confused to why this happens sometimes. Other times I can join during a quest with out any beef.
Yeah it is weird how some quests are restricted. Finished the quest and couldn't rejoin :P. Sorry for disappearing on you guys :P.

Im doing a quest in single player in order to try and level, then I'm done for the evening. Maybe we'll get some more time in tomorrow.

Its boss number 2 time though, and as we saw from tonight, I'm not ready to fight him at all.

lol yeah that was crazy. Still can't believe we beat him.

Everyone got wiped in the first 5 seconds except for me and I only had 1 moon atomizer :P. Only thing that kept me alive for the 5+ minute battle was the drain gun :P.

Think we did quest 2-1 or it might have been 2-2. We just cleared the cave for the first hour or so though.

Y'all made me so nervous about the dragon, but I took him down easily and only had to heal a couple of times. Hopefully the second boss isn't too bad either. Three more cave quests to go and then I'll try my hand at the boss.

Bone, remember when I predicted that you'd really like PSO but you didn't seem to believe me?

EDIT:

Great pic, SB!

I'm def gonna need some help on that guy. I remember him giving me so much trouble in single-player.

lol every time I think I'm done playing for the night I'm all like "how about another half hour..." Then 30 minutes later I say the same thing.

It was 2-3. That boss 1 hit killed me. I'm level 13 now and I'm still at just under 100 hp and 40 defence. Even the defense spell wasn't enough to keep me from being one shotted.

I just cleared a side mission to try and get a little money and some exp. Just the easy monster killing one in the forest. Might do the cave and mines monster lkilling quests tomorrow for better exp rewards.

I hate these caves, but I want to finish 2-4 before I progress. The monsters in the mine seem easier for me - no annoying flowers paralysis stopping me from casting spells.

I like my character class, but the game doesnt seem very well balanced for it - I'm constantly running out of magic replenishing items, and then consequently out of money as I have to buy those, plus new spells. New spells costs anywhere from 100-600 for the basic ones I've seen so far, 10 monofluids is 1000 (and I normally need about 15-25 for a long mission), telepipes to get them add to that bill even more. Difluids and Trifluids are rare, and in order to raise my MST enough to learn new spells, they just get fed to my mag anyhow. It feels a little more like a money management sim than an online rpg at times

I spend every run in multiplayer robbing all the items so I can afford to keep up. If i dont cast the magics, I dont get no exp. Sorry if I keep nabbing all your stuff!

P.S Everyone seems to be robots who cant cast magic but me, so please save all the difluids, trifluids and discs you find for the AlienJ charity fund. Thanks!

I see you use magic in a lot of situations where you don't really need too. Why don't you just use a melee on monsters that are right about to go down for the exp?
