It's this crazy thing called sportsmanship. But remember where Dish lives.
What was your preferred team, Luke?

Rooting: I like the 49ers. I like the way they play. I like Kaepernick and Crabtree. I like smashmouth football with people who know how to block and tackle.

Pulling: We need Green Bay to win. We (Carolina and Luke) can beat Green Bay, we probably won't fare as well against the 49ers.

Using the house on fire analogy. Watch some youtube vids on wild animal battles in the Savannah. You can be rooting for the Gazelle to make it, but still be in awe and admiration of the cheetahs' amazing display of speed burst and ability to cut and ultimately devour the gazelle.

So basically you don't care who wins? You're happy either way? Because that was how I watched the game. I didn't root or pull for either team to win, but for both to play well.

Maybe the solution is:

rooting for one, pulling for another = neither rooting or pulling for either

So what were you doing? Just watching? You had no interest - you weren't rooting or pulling or wretching? If you weren't doing any of those things - if you didn't have a preferred result, what was your interest?

If your interest was to watch them "play well", then we'll be having a side discussion to define what your interest exactly was, because to me, you were rooting for them to play well. Otherwise you were just a zombie staring at moving pictures.

I hope Indy does the same with New England. Wait, why did I throw that one in.....oh yeah I hate the Patriots, that's why.
Probably a Raider fan

I am stunned the chargers are in the playoffs and won a game. But were not going to beat the Bronco's. (If your a Charger fan you always have to assume the worst)
