Yup, that's the one. Glad I'm not the only one who remembers it. It actually wasn't bad, though by the time I beat it, I got the distinct sense that the developers rushed it out the door. Like, a lot of the art and gameplay heavily suggests that you're meant to get party members. You can even find the characters in the game who mention teaming up with you. But there's never an option to actually have them join you haha

(9/7 UPDATE) Took some new photos after buying a Sony Trinitron CRT TV, rearranging things, and picking up a few new Genesis games now that I can play them with a clear picture. See original post for pics.

(1/4 UPDATE) Re-shot my main Game Room photos after rearranging things a bit, adding a Wii to my collection of consoles, and buying a few new games. Might follow up with some new game shots soon. See Original post for updated pics.
Re: Wispmage's Game Room and Collection (Updated 1/4)
(1/23 UPDATE) Added photos of my new Sega Saturn and 3DS along with the games I acquired for each.
Saturn Collection

I'll be interested to see how the RTS games play with a controller, as I've never played one on anything other than PC. Can anyone attest to Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Iron Storm, or Bug?
3DS Collection

I'm looking forward to trying out a Link Between Worlds after hearing how good it is from so many people. I'm an avid Zelda fan, and I loved a Link to the Past so I don't see how I could can go wrong.

(3/4 UPDATE) After finding out to my dismay that my older PC couldn't run the new Thief game, I took it upon myself to spec out, order, and build a new rig this past weekend. Saturday also happened to be my birthday, so I decided that it would be a birthday present to myself.
I'm now happy to report that it runs Thief with an average of 50FPS, and is a huge upgrade over my old PC. If you want to check the specs/parts, here's the wishlist I created for it on NewEgg: New PC Wishlist
I also received a custom-built shelf a few days ago as well, courtesy of my girlfriend's Dad who happens to be a carpenter. It allows me to use my 27" HD TV as a second monitor above my primary one, mostly for Netflix viewing whilst in bed.

Looking good. What's the picture in the top left? Is it supposed to be an eastern interpretation of Neverending Story, some game. or just a random image?

My thoughts on your PC build:
I like it overall, but i think your PSU might be a bit overkill, not that it's bad, but i hope you upgrade the GPU later on.
Why did you get 1 stick of 8gb over 2 sticks of 4gb? your missing out on dual channel now.
If your worried about future proofing and thought of adding another 8gb stick later on so to have 16gb (which i still think is overkill for gaming now and even 5 years from now).
When DDR4 becomes the standard, i plan on building a new rig, but already know it will have 16gb of RAM.
People with more than 16gb of RAM in a gaming computer are crazy and will never utilize it, EVER in that current rig.
I like the keyboard, i actually have that on my Amazon wishlist in case my Razer keyboard dies, also liking the mouse.

It's a print from Ript Apparel that's meant to be a more traditional artistic tribute to Samurai Jack.Hobie-wan wrote:Looking good. What's the picture in the top left? Is it supposed to be an eastern interpretation of Neverending Story, some game. or just a random image?
Didn't do this on purpose. I didn't inspect the product on NewEgg carefully enough, and just assumed it was two sticks of 4.Hazerd wrote:Why did you get 1 stick of 8gb over 2 sticks of 4gb? your missing out on dual channel now.
They keyboard was a replacement to my Razer Lycosa, which was pretty old and had a few issues with media keys sticking. I wasn't sure how I'd like the Sidewinder, but after a few days of using it, I can definitely say I'm liking it. Lots of customizable keys, adjustable back-lighting, and its got a nice solid feel to the key presses.Hazerd wrote:I like the keyboard, I actually have that on my Amazon wishlist in case my Razer keyboard dies, also liking the mouse.
