Cold Fear was great! Finished that before even playing RE4 and when I did play RE4, I never finished that...Pulsar_t wrote:To me Resi lost its charm after RE2. They just topped themselves and couldn't repeat the feat. RE4 felt like a shallow TPS with little horror elements. Silent Hill has become rubbish as well. One surprisingly okay game I recently tried was Cold Fear. It certainly controlled better than RE4 and had more 'atmosphere' thanks to the fixed camera angles.

wow so much hate for RE4 and i thought the general consensus was it was a great game... it certainly looked ok and i really liked the look of the over the shoulder camera (i havn't actually played it yet)
i always thought it was considered the best in the series not the worst =S

Chill dude. I don't hate RE4 but I think it's a radical departure from the original roots of the series turning it into a TPS. Most members here probably consider RE4 a triple A title.Tercoil wrote:wow so much hate for RE4 and i thought the general consensus was it was a great game... it certainly looked ok and i really liked the look of the over the shoulder camera (i havn't actually played it yet)
