I was looking to purchase Cannon Spike again and was shocked to see it going for around $75 on ebay. I just said F-it and bought the Japanese version from Yahoo Auctions for about $23

It seems I may have to start importing more Dreamcast games like I do for the Saturn. Obviously, Dreamcast is nowhere near the ridiculous prices of US Saturn games but I see the trend starting already for certain games.

I thought importing was always super expensive?!
If the title came to the US, then the JPN version is no longer "needed" by US customers and it gets cheap. Back in the day I picked up zombie revenge, jet set radio, and incoming (I know) pretty cheap.

Of course the downside is when you pick up an import and it eventually gets released stateside. I paid a pretty penny for a JPN gunbird 2, thinking a title like this would NEVER come to the US :)

In recent DC news, I brought power stone 2 to my department's holiday party, and I think it went over real well. I'll admit the plan was to bring Pac-Man battle royale (X360), but it seems that Namco has problems hitting release dates for technical endeavors like an old pac-man game. So my DC filled in and saved the day.

Speaking of pac-man: If anyone cares, Ms. Pac-Man maze madness has some excellent 4 player action.
This is why I have so many Super Famicom games, at least action titles that have little Japanese to speak of anyway. Hagane US = Ouch. Hagane JP = about $20.

And Power Stone 2 is such a great party game. It's easy to pick up and play and full of hilarious moments when you've got four people flailing around like crazy.

I picked up Incoming last year (2013 now ). It's not BAD, really. It gets frustrating because there's just a lot going on and I remember a point where I had to take out some enemy installations and as soon as you're seen by them you get fired on from every imaginable direction, and the radar was absolutely useless. I managed to get back out of there to the next stage.

Good variety of land and air vehicles and if you just want to blow stuff up, it serves its purpose.

As for Power Stone 2, I had a chance to get it brand new for $24.99 in 2002. Biggest mistake I probably ever made was passing it up at that price. However, that boneheaded move was tempered by the fact that I picked up a brand new Project Justice for $19.99 around the same time. I just peeked at the average price for that, another Capcom premium DC title these days!

I just got another dreamcast in the mail. 13.00 with shipping. very dirty but plays fine. Placed my see thru smoke shell on top of it and I have a smoke see thru shell controller and it looks awesome. Playing a few fighters when The grinding was horrid. Took it apart and place some Vaseline on the gears of the laser and the system is running like new. Never heard a dreamcast so quiet. Love this thing.
I'm going to pick up kof 2002 and Capcom vs snk 2 this weekend. Cant wait

That is not appropriate lubricant. You should be using lithium or synthetic grease for plastic gears.

Never had the chance to get them. Every time i was going to get them they sold. And the vaseline works fine. I didn't have any grease so i used a substitute. Besides its not going to fry the system or cause it to go nuclear on me. I paid 15.00 for it. If I can get a few month's out of it then I'm happy. I'm not worried about it

Is this as easy job to do? I have two DC's. One with region-free BIOS and vga built-in, which is awesome but it's pretty loud. My other was a £1 bargain off ebay which I use for non-vga games and it works well too and is nearly silent! I'd like to get my other console as quiet as that one but it's not something I've tried in the past.
