2014 New Year's Resolutions

Non gaming related goals:

1. Read at least 2 books a month. I used to read all the time and I barely read a thing last year.
2. Watch at least 1 classic film a month. I've never been much of a film buff, but I think it's time to expand my horizons.

If I do have any informal "resolutions" it is that first one. I really would like to read more, write more, and play a bit less.

I know you are British, but since most films are made in America, you may find this list useful to help you become a better film buff: http://www.afi.com/100years/movies10.aspx. I basically watched may way through the entire initial list from 1996-2000 or so and it did wonders for my knowledge of film history and gave me a real appreciation for the medium. The list isn't as "definitive" as it portends and there are obvious misses, but it is a very solid place to start.
