I second the Kirby idea. Kirby was my second all time favorite game series, next to Zelda games of course. Grew up with that little pink ball of fun, mainly since a little smiling pink ball told my mom that this was going to be a good game to get her young daughter lol. No blood and gore for me growing up.corn619 wrote:The Silent Hill and Fatal Frame series are a creepy time. On the opposite end of the spectrum you can't go wrong with Kirby.
idk if it's been said but try Devil May Cry games, some people hate em and some love em. And some hate then newer ones with a firey passion. They arn't mindblowingly epic games but their worth a shot if you happen across them one day.
And Tomb Raider. My third favorite game series. Once I was old enough to have a game that had a T rating, my mom thought it would be a good idea to get me a game with a strong female character in the lead role. Good job on her part because I fell in love with Tomb Raider games and Lara Croft really became a good role model for shy little me. Every game from the very first one to the reboot is good, excluding that black little smudge called Angel of Darkness. The only way I managed to get through that pile of shit was with a game guide and cheat codes.
