That reminds me I need to find The Critic on DVD. I need some classic John Luvitz in my life.

I just watched my first Bluray movie (Da Vinci Code) . I waned to try this new in movie menus , but it seems like a novelty. The Extra was to be "popping up" during movie playback , I do not want to re-watch the whole movie just to get those extra pieces and bits of commentary. Even worse , sometimes you get 2 symbols going so you either can watch one extra or the other ex... commentary by the Director OR backstage photos.

Worse of all , the picture in picture thing is where the extras are displayed in a tiny screen to the bottom left of the screen and I do not know if there is a way to enlarge it.

I guess its not a problem with the Bluray format but how the technology is implemented.

Hey everyone, I've been gone from this forum for a while, been busy with a bunch of stuff, but I'm back and I'm gonna try to come on more frequently.

LOL at one of the latest lottery commercials with the catchphrase- "what will you think of, when you don't have to think about money?"

Just has has a normal lady strolling in a giant garden maze to what is assumedly her mansion, then she sits down on a bench and postulates:

"Why is pizza baked as a circle, yet served in a square box and then cut into triangles?"

LOL, that one just tickled me, as I can see myself pondering such thoughts after being relieved of the stresses of every day working life.

Uncomfortable plot summaries. A few examples:
300: Gays kill blacks.
ALIEN: Ship fails to deliver cargo, crew don’t get bonus.
TITANIC: Crazy old widow disregards lifelong memories of husband, children, and grandchildren in favor of that one time she fucked a bum.

This was actually incorrect. The Spartans weren't any more gay than any other society. It was Athens and other Greek city-states that had the mentor-young male homosexual relationship. The Spartans had a society that empowered women relative to the rest of civilizations at the time. They believed that practice was a form of misogyny...

But carry on...

I don't think the author means what actually was going on in Sparta, but rather merely a humorous twist on the movie (or comic book). (I haven't read the comic, so I don't know how accurate it is.)

The titles are still pretty stupid, and they could have done so much better at the ones with genuinely shady plot lines, like Charlies and the Chocolate Factory. Pedophile? Nuh-uh, slave-owner would have been more accurate and funnier.

What is the safe spot for drunk enough to feel good, but not falling down and puking drunk? Just wondering, was having a conversation with somebody and it came up and I honestly don't know.

For me, that's like four drinks.
