Dynamite Cop

Post by thejamessea »

Just bought this for DC last night. Thought I heard back in the day that it was made by AM2. Not sure if that's totally correct, but I figured I'd give it a shot since it's one of those rare Dreamcast games that I didn't pick up when the system was going strong.

Any thoughts on Dynamite Cop???

I actually LOVED that game and will be searching for a new copy now you've reminded me of it. Endless hours of fun were had on that with my brother and I trying to rescue the ugliest woman alive (the president's daugher?)

Not much depth I don't think, but still great fun

It was one of the first games i got for my Dreamcast back in 2000. It's really fun with a friend and the weapons are ridiculous in that awesome over the top way, oh and top notch voice acting :)

It's an awesome game and is completely ridiculous. Of course, its ridiculousness is a large part of what makes it awesome.

I think it's one of the very few 3D beat-em-ups that is a blast to play. It is great just playing it over and over. It was made by AM1 (House of the Dead, Zombie Revenge, Die Hard Arcade, Puyo Puyo, Sega GT).

A couple of other great satisfying TRUE beat-em-ups I can think of in 3D are Spikeout and Yakuza (both by AM4). The Xbox version of Spikeout is awesome.

Oh, I see it's pretty much Die Hard Arcade II. It ought to be good then.

i think the plot is exactly the same, they even mimic cutscenes from die hard arcade

either way its mindless beat-em up fun i think its essential for a DC owner

Fun game, great multiplayer title. I would recomend Cannon Spike for the DC too. Super fun capcom beat-em-up. You can play as several capcom characters including Mega Man. Kind of a shooter too, similar to The Red Star if you've played that one.
