Haha, are you a Lunar net member Bone?
My wife is (or used to be) a big member there, shes an avid lunar collector- has all the standard collectibles and shit like both the Ghaleon & Alex punching dolls, the 'All-in-Lunar' PC game, the Korean version of Lunar 1 with the sweet cover art and some kinda limited Nall plushie sold by some dude at working designs? I can't remember all of it, but she's a damn huge fan. She's even cosplayed as Luna before.

But yea, she's noticed there are hardly any Lunar fans out there anymore, so I am surprised (well not really) to see one here.

I took a gamble on what may or may not be shovelware. Had a gift card that was burning a hole in my pocket so I stopped by Gamestop and purchased (all cib, all for the 360):

Lost Planet Extreme condition Colonies Edition
Time Shift
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter
Dark Sector
Shadow Run

They're also placing these games on hold:

Table Tennis
Prey
Project Gotham Racing 3
Too Human
Sega Superstars Tennis
Frontline fuel of war
Fear Files
Dragon Age

These games are about two dollars or less, and since I'm using a gift card I'm not paying anything out of pocket. But, did I just purchase a lot of terrible games? I've never even heard of most of the games I purchased and have no clue if any of these games are even decent.

As of now I'm trying to 100% Tekken Tag 2, which has over 50 characters so I won't be getting to my new haul until next year.

tl/dr: Any good games in my list?

Whoa that's a lot of stuff - and I thought I had a nice Lunar collection.

Nah I'm not a member of that site's forums - though I do visit the site from time to time. Great resource.

-GRAW is good multiplayer.
-Dark Sector seemed underrated from what I played of it. It's made by Digital Extremes who are a bit hit and miss. Darkness II awesome! Star Trek, not so much.
-Rockstar's Table Tennis is actually pretty fun surprisingly.
-Too Human is neat from what I played, but the gameplay could've used some more polish. I was intrigued by the story, but I never finished it.
-Dragon Age is great on the PC, but I've heard there's some issues with the console version, so not quite sure what your experience will be.

Ones I've played to some extent...

Lost Planet is fairly good. Prey and Too Human are at least interesting for their development histories and such, and have half-interesting settings.

Dragon Age is great, but to me is far more of a PC game. The console versions remove the zoomed out camera view, which is handy for tactical combat, among other UI changes. AFAIK, the default difficulty is reduced by a notch, compared to the PC version, to compensate.
Beyond that, there's also the Ultimate Edition that includes the expansion (Awakening) and DLC. Nothing wrong with the original release, but if you did want to get all the content, it'd be cheaper to snag the UE instead.

Thanks for your input.

My wife will probably love Table Tennis (it's less than a dollar) to the point where she buys a ping pong table.

Man, everyone replies so fast here I got nath'd out of the bulk of my response.

@ Luke-

LP1 and Shadowrun had what I consider GREAT online multiplayer modes, however I don't think you'll find many players online for either anymore, they may have even shut down shadowrun's servers by now.

SS Tennis is mediocre, got boring really quick. Girls love tennis games though, so there is a gateway game for you to sucker an unsuspecting one with :)

Fear- all the games are solid FPS story modes, Fear files is just the first 2 expansions for the first one, which was the best one anyways.

Prey- was underrated when it came out, kinda dated poorly now. The storyline is kinda unique though, i enjoyed it.

Keep grinding that TTT2 kid! Did you manage to get DLC codes with yours for the few extra characters that were gamestop exclusives at launch?

My GS has DA 2, 3, and I believe an expansion pack for either 2 or 3. Might have to check those out too.
