DJ Max Technika Tune

Post by Godot102 »

Is anyone else really ticked off with how the release(or lack of) was handled?
It got delayed multiple times (one of the reasons being because they did not order the boxes in time for the release window). All the sudden, it gets an extremely limited and extremely quiet release on PSN and on their website and it costs more money than any other PsVita game......do these people expect to make any money off this game? Its almost as if they DONT want people to buy it!

No physical release? That'd be unfortunate. But I guess I'd rather get the digital release then in case of any DLC.

Edit: nevermind. Checked out the site. Cool! I'ma get it.

I got it. I pre ordered it when it very first came up and was really upset with the way things were handled. I was most upset about the fact that we had to pay for it in full beforehand. To take our money and make us wait almost 4 months is terrible business.

Bumping this to see if anyone plays this game now that its out? This has easily been my most-played Vita game, and the only game so far to have me sitting in front of a perfectly good tv with headphones on tapping away at the portable.

So, who finger-dances? What difficulty are you on, what is your favorite song, is Kara stuck in your head, etc.

Yea. I don't normally listen to kpop, but I can dig some Kara now.

As for playing, I honestly think this game is best on just the front touch screen and while laying on a table. If you're holding the device then the rear touch screen makes things more doable.

Overall, I really enjoy the game. Not as much as Project DIVA. I do think Technika Tune would be better on a tablet. If there isn't an iPad version, there should be.

I actually prefer the rear touch on. I was switching back and forth between front only and both, but in Club Mixing I pretty much solely play with rear touch. They did it perfectly too, as the rear touch will often be on a different beat than the front (Frustrating, but so fun once you get multiple rhythms going at the same time).

A small part of me just enjoys that the gimmick of a rear screen is actually fun to use, but I think it actually makes Technika Tune a unique experience that isn't replicable elsewhere.

I would not mind a tablet version (or a Wii U version!), but I do think the game is perfect for the Vita. Project Diva is one I plan on trying out eventually too.

So far, my favorite song would have to be Son of Sun. I can only pass it on Pop Mixing right now, but it is one hell of an experience playing that song with headphones on. Half the time, I have forgotten where I am when the song ends.

Wait, what? It was delayed multiple times? I've had the game since January:
DJMAX TECHNIKA TUNE: Order 2522 has been shipped
Your order #2522 has been shipped.
Order Date: Jan 22, 2013 11:34 AM PST
EDIT: LOL, didn't notice that the original post was Dec 2012, not Dec 2013
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?
