Hey since you're into mobile web stuff now, you oughta see about having a mobile version of the site and forum. I have come to really appreciate a good mobile site.

Yeah, but this site already works incredibly well on an iPhone. I hate a lot of those mobile sites, especially when you are forced into them. They're usually just gimped.

What we really need is for Cave to release those apps that are for JP phones only.

But it does pretty well. My one complaint about the forum is the response text box is just a bit too large to fit completely on the screen.

I like my normal person phone, because it's normal, and it's a phone. And it lasts powered on 5 days on a charge. And it has a megaman ringtone. That's pretty much all I could ever want. I leave the internet at home. I don't need it with me at all times.

+1000. In fact I plan on completely ditching my phone asap. People need to be more introverted and with longer attention spans. SMS, Wifi, Bluetooth, twittering, facebooking, PTT it's all insane. it's no wonder daily life has become a crazy bitch!

my girlfriend and I looked at the G1 yesterday when we went to get her a phone (and the blackberry's which are very impressive) we ended up going with a cheaper samsung (but still very nice, and rather expensive to)

That's kinda what I've heard -- you kinda loose some of the strengths of the traditional Blackberries.

On a side note, Windows Mobile is starting to look like Palm OS as the days go on...

rumor has it t-mobile is going to get their own iphone here soon.

i dunno, i'm due for an upgrade in december so it's either a G1 or an older model blackberry for me, like a curve or something. i'll check out the G1 in the store.

i had to dig for this thread, but i did decide to go with the G1 and i'm totally loving it as well. i'm really excited about the possibilities with the open platform and the huge array of free apps. shopsavvy is fucking amazing and having google maps all the time is pretty handy also.

racket, do you have any advice on any worthwhile apps or games to check out? i just downloaded the game boy emulator, it is pretty early but shows promise.

i got the HTC Touch HD free from Orange a couple of weeks ago & have to say its been awesome so far

i had a windows based mobile before so the operating system isn't a problem for me but the new touch software has made it a lot easier to navigate
plus it has the biggest clearest screen of any phone on the market

I haven't messed with the emulator(s) just because I figured the controls wouldn't be good (same with iPhone)
