Video Game "Look what I found"
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Good find. I never find anything in Worcester ma. I may not collect anymore but it would be cool to see retro games on the scene.

I understand what you are saying but given my limited lifetime , I can only play certain number of ps2 games, just the cream of the crop
That's a good attitude to have, but the best PS2 games are mostly not in HD collections or on PSN. Gradius V and Valkyrie Profile 2, for example.
If they are that good I am expecting they will have a re-release especially Gradius V which seems easy to port. I really wish I could afford all this stuff, but money and time are very tight I came to learn this the hard way by setting high expectations.
I was very surprised to learn that the 360 I owned for 7 years, have been only used for about 15 or so games . That is about 2 games a year. I do not play 360 exclusively, but you get the idea.
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Well I ran around a bit today and ended up with a variety of stuff as usual
.
Guy had a shelf full of random games mostly SNES and PC which I just about looked over. It was mostly Sports stuff so I was about to pass it over when he said $22 for everything
. I rounded it up to $25 since there was so much and he tossed in a nice little tool bag to haul it away in.

Ended up being 30 SNES sports games, 3 Game Cube Games, 3 PS1 games, and around 20+ pc games
.
Favorite thing was a complete copy of the Interactive CD Volume 4 Sampler disc in like new shape.

Also ended up picking up all of this while I was out.

Was hoping to find some more PS3 games at the pawns but didn't have any luck.

Thanks, Bone! I am very pleased with the new games, and I look forward to starting up yet another collection! (I am also looking forward to hitting up my favorite game hunting location later this week to see what Intellivision games it has in stock!)
There are some hard to find/choice/pricey 7800 carts there. Ikari Warriors, Plaent Smashers, and Kung Fu Master are a pain in the ass to come across especially. Are you now going to go for a complete set?
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Went over to California this past week And got all this from my cousin. He told me he doesn't collect old games so he gave me these he had from when he was small.

I think so. I only need about 30 more games at this point; I have no intention of acquiring CIB copies; and cart-only copies of the very rarest games in the set are not that expensive. I will see how many I can find locally, and when I get the number I need down to 15 or so, I will start picking them up online again.
Also, my wife is the best. I actually bid on the lot, but I was outbid about an hour before the auction ended. We spoke about the extraordinary 7800 lot earlier in the week, and once I was outbid, she immediately placed a very generous bid on the lot to ensure that I would receive it for Christmas. (She also got a killer deal on it too!)

The Sierra installer from a Half Life 1.0 disc kind of did that to me when I removed the game once. I'm not sure if it was confused by XP versus 95/98, or if the installer didn't like that I used C:\Games\Half Life instead of the default C:\Program Files\Sierra\The People that brought you King's Quest and Leisure Suit Larry\Action FPS\OMG Weasles\Half Life. So when it went to remove the directory, instead of just removing Half Life, it removed one up, my entire Games directory along with saves.

If it was the 1 up version, good thing you didn't install it directly to C:

It was a launch retail box version I'd borrowed from a friend.
