Didn't get this one for Christmas, so I ordered it and Layton 6 myself. Looking forward to playing both very soon.

so LBW was under the tree this year. I managed to put in 2-3 hrs last night, and I think it's great. It's like visiting an old friend.

Re: Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Sigh.
I have a feeling I'm not going to enjoy this one. I have never in my life been stuck so early in a Zelda game. I haven't even made it to the game's first dungeon and already I feel like I've hit a brick wall.
I'm supposed to go warn this Seventh sage, apprentice guy about the villain coming after him. There's a big X on my map showing me where he is, but every god damn path I take to get there is blocked off in some way.
There's also this stupid lady telling me to bring her kid home before he gets attacked by monsters, but this brat just wants to stay in the forest and play with his stupid animal friends and refuses to go back.
I've literally been wondering around the map for an hour with no goddamn clue what the hell I'm supposed to do to progress the story and if my post hasn't made it clear already I'm getting kind of pissed off

Gamer, you're ahead of me, but did you rent everything you could rent to proceed?
Re: Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
wait, you put the game on/high on your "best of" list without even playing a dungeon? I'm just a little past half way myself...and had a lot of hesitation in listing it without finishing it. I'm also finding the back half of the game to be a good deal tougher than the first half was.noiseredux wrote:Gamer, you're ahead of me, but did you rent everything you could rent to proceed?

I'm 3-4 hrs, on the mountain dungeon. Already beat the water one.
EDIT: yeah I'm not sure why I thought he was head of me.

I'm trying to think of how to help Gamer, but I can't for the life of me think of how or where he is stuck that early in the game. Dude just check a FAQ, you're probably gonna facepalm over it.

I'm guessing he hasn't gone back home yet.Stark wrote:I'm trying to think of how to help Gamer, but I can't for the life of me think of how or where he is stuck that early in the game. Dude just check a FAQ, you're probably gonna facepalm over it.
