Nastar Warrior/Rastan Saga II/Nastar? And we're talking Taito Legends 2 because that's the only place to play it as far as compilations go. Gotta love the 3-territory Taito titling too! The graphics are like jelly, and so is the game.

TL2 is still a sweet package, just wish they didn't spread the games across the multiple platform. PC's got Cadash (arcade RPG!) and Rayforce which makes it a winner with me but I'd really like to do the other 2 shmups the PS2 port has. When I was putting together the 2014 shmup calendar, I found out that the Xbox port didn't even come out in the US (which has the same games as the PC port)

Gaming on my new TV is amazing, I just need to grab a HDMI cord for it.

It's like I LIKE testing my self control.

So far my collection is home console only (and 1 gutted cabinet that I'm turning into a MAME cab)... but I just keep keep staring at Naomis, Atomiswaves, MVSes... anything I could consolize. How long will my resolve hold?
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
Chronically out of date BST thread

Don't you love it on eBay when they give you this really nice picture, with the zoom in feature to boot...but only show the front of the disc?

I've always found photos of the back of the disc to be pretty useless. Scratches are often only visible in certain lighting conditions after all.

If in doubt with disc only, look for CIB copies. Chances are, someone who hasn't bothered keeping and taking care of the case and manual probably didn't bother taking good care of the disc by itself either.

Okay, I'm staring at two games on my shelf that I bought a good while back that'll probably take me a while to play through, and I'm not sure which one to fire up.

So I'll ask you guys: should I play Lunar: The Silver Star next, or Popful Mail?

If you have never played Lunar, play that. Easily one of my favorite RPGs of all time,

That's some pretty high praise. At least one vote for Lunar there then.

Anyone else wanna chime in?

Apparently, the Xbox version is region free, however. I plan to import it at some point.

So does anyone know about using a PS3 controller on PC? This stuff makes no sense to me.
