I enjoyed my time with Vagrant Story, how about that one?
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

I'm for anything by Matsuno Yasumi. Unfortunately I've never really made the time to play more than the first 30 minutes of Vagrant Story. Maybe after I play through Ogre Battle and Tactics Ogre.Stark wrote:I enjoyed my time with Vagrant Story, how about that one?
The battle system is definitely interesting. I've heard that the equipment durability thing gets really annoying later in the game, though.

Matsuno and Tetsuya Takahashi.
Obviously, these men are nothing compared to the brilliance that is Tetsuya Nomura! Thank goodness only the best stayed with Square.

Vagrant Story is a beast and has Hitoshi Sakimoto's best score by far in my book.

I guess I'll have to mention parasite eve for ps1.
I really enjoyed that game when it came out back then.
There are a lot of experimental square games in the ps1 era.

I'm going to have to go with Ehrgeiz: god bless the ring. I had so much fun in the quest mode of that game. Oh and Tobal! I always wanted to play that game but never got a chance. I think I might need to track down some copies of these soon.
Edit Hmm after some googling and reading on wikipedia it turns out that both games were developed by dream factory and published by square. Are we just trying list games developed by square or also published.
