Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Would it be worth it to buy a YLOD PS3 and attempt to fix it? I was interested in maybe trying to re-case one or something along with the fix, but I'm not sure if it would be worth the attempt, as I've heard quite a few things about YLOD fixes not being all that permanent.

I don't really have the cash. And I'd have to go out and buy a hard drive like right off...BoneSnapDeez wrote:Just get the new 12GB system playa. Seriously.

Either way, YLoD is not really easy to properly repair, just like RRoD. Holiday bundle was $199 at times too - which is probably still a little much, but the value is there.

I was reading the interview with Dion Dakis here on Racketboy . Who is this guy? Why does he talk about selling Neo-Geo cartridges like he is talking about smuggling drugs?
Why are some people responding with hating comments? And what is NeOGeoFreak? I know it only as an onlime website dedicated to NeoGeo like Rackeyboy is for retro-gaming

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Last night I realized that the high score abbreviations in Commando were references to other Capcom games.
VUL = Vulgus
SON = SonSon
HIG = Pirate Ship Higemaru
CAP = Capcom
EXE = Exed Exes
COM = Commando
I'm sure that there are other games that do this - I've just never noticed.

Whoa what a coincidence, those are the names of some of my favorite sex positions. The Pirate Ship Higemaru is very difficult to pull off.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Last night I realized that the high score abbreviations in Commando were references to other Capcom games.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I "go commando" from time to time. Can't say I've ever done the "pirate ship".
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Yes, nice observation on the Capcom high scores, not so much about what else was said
