A Gyromite Adapter is cheaper since most of the time the game is inexpensive at the Swap Meet, Thrift Store or an unknowing owner at a Retro Game store.KalessinDB wrote:For the love of god people stop killing innocent Gyromite carts!Aar1012 wrote:I was debating getting her a copy of Gyromite, a proper screwdriver, and a Japanese to English dictionaryto have it as a DIY copy of the gameflojocabron wrote:There are some adapters out there you can buy to make this game work in an NES.
Dont know how much they're worth, but you can get one in the meantime until you find that famicom.
I cant help with the language barrier though.
Retrogate is selling new adapters now, no need anymore.
I don't like killing a game either, but the Gyromite approach is reliable for single game use since the shell can also be used. This prevents movement between the Adapter and the Famicom game PCB both inside the shell. Throw in a custom cart cover, the converted game an easy insert on a Toaster NES.
