The Christmas Thread

Merry Christmas RacketBoy!

How is everyone this Christmas/Holiday Season?

Went to a work Christmas party last night. Watched my drunk co-workers and had a couple of drinks myself. Had an alright dinner (it was catered and fancy, the cook just wasn't very good). And didn't win a single prize. :( But it was nice that my work does that for us.

My wife works on Christmas, so we did Christmas early for the 2 of us. And I scored! What I got:
-Batman: Arkham Origins (XBox 360)
-WWE 2K14 (XBox 360)
-Xenogears (PS1) (VGCollect.com Secret Santa)
-Megadeth: Rust In Peace: Remastered (CD) (VGCollect.com Secret Santa)
-Metallica: Kill 'Em All (CD)
-Disarmonia Mundi: The Isolation Game (CD)
-Man of Steel (DVD)
-Star Trek: Into Darkness (Blu-Ray & DVD)
-$10 Wal-Mart Gift Card (Work Secret Santa)
-Two awesome old school gaming t-shirts! One an NES controller t-shirt, and the other a 8-bit Super Mario Bros. t-shirt.
-And "The Chillow". A pillow that stays cool.

I still have 3 different family get-togethers to go to, though, between my dad's side of the family, my mom's side of the family (split family), and the in-laws. Busy, but I'm definitely thankful for a large and loving family.

So, what is everyone else's plan this year? What did you get?

At a Rehab Hospital. She's a Unit Secretary, which basically means she runs the nurses station on her floor and answers phones and watches monitors and such.

Yup, that is Cap in the back.

Suggestion to anyone who has not yet wrapped their x-mas gifts for their comic book or video game loving friends:

Go to your local comic shop or game stop and ask if they have any "throw-away" promo material. They "usually always" do. *BAM!* Free awesome wrapping paper.

Isn't every pillow a chillow when you flip it?

Anyhwho, my Mother and Father will be visiting starting Monday, and tonight is my last break from X-mas parties. Had one last night, have one tomorrow (plus an Bears vs. Eagles blowout party) and I will be busy as a bee until 2014.

Posting all the gifts I've purchased and might leave me with arthritis, but in short it will be a happy holiday for my friends and family.

Nice play Chupon, but you can't beat The Christmas Song.

The view number might be exaggerated (Don't tell Norris, because, ya know, it's on the Internet).

I just made an audio book of How the Grinch Stole Christmas for my best friend's daughter. I recorded myself reading the book aloud. Then I added music and sound effects. She just moved to Austin, and I miss her deeply.

Made a couple gift boxes:

Zelda treasure chest with a TurboGrafx inside.

TV-like box with a Roku inside (And gladiator on the front)

Coincidentally, I was given a TurboGrafx early. Pretty awesome.
