Pretty sure that's been true ever since the NES launched, if not earlier.
Space Invaders arcade took all the Yens. Other big arcade bumps would be Pac Man and SF II.

No Pokemon? Id figure they were young enough that they grew up in the initial pokemon craze.

Pokemon is extremely popular, but I don't think it appeals to the CoD/GTA crowd so much.

I would love that. The arena shooter has been dead for some time now.

Anyone ever play a Nuon system? Pretty interesting. Instead of a game console that also plays DVDs (like a PS2) it's more like a DVD player that also plays games. Well eight games anyway.

I remember it being hyped as "Project X" back in the early days of the 6th gen.

Some of the games look pretty cool - especially The Next Tetris, Space Invaders XL, and Tempest 3000.

It's not worth paying eBay prices for, but it sure is something to keep an eye out for. There could be random systems mixed in with all the DVD players you find at Goodwill.

I honestly don't think I'd recognize a nuon DVD player if I saw it.
