R-Zone?

Post by nickfil »

Does anyone have an r-zone? Do you recommend it?

From the few screen shots i saw- it looked like garbage... but when i look at the small game list it looks great!

Panzer dragoon, batman, a slew of star wars, primal rage, road rash, virtua cop, virtua fighter, NiGHTS, and Area 51!!! Nice.

but.... yeah... kinda stupid.

I don't have THAT one, but I do have the SuperScreen model. Anyone know how to replace the bulb inside it with something LED-based? And also, will that make it possible to alter it to run on smaller batteries, preferably AA's?

I kind of can't believe they made a panzer dragoon game for it.

Wow, I'd never heard of that before. And kinda wish I still hadn't.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

I've played one, actually. A buddy of mine had it over a decade ago. It was pretty crappy, no way around it. Still, I do like to bring it up as a kind of joke from time to time.
