How do you burn a Utopia boot disc in OSX?
I have the file "Utopia_boot_disk-dc.cdi" ready to go. Just not sure how to make it work so that the DC recognizes it.
Burning Utopia

Re: Burning Utopia
This works in Mac OS X?
I'm really irritated by how difficult this is for me.

This'd be great for me too, but I can't install discjuggler, tells me to reboot everytime I try to open setup

Why does everybody jump the gun with advice on this forum. The guy clearly said he uses OS X. He has posted on several threads about using OS X. Windows instruction aren't going to work...

That has worked for me in the past. Works for bootable .cdi images.

Re: Burning Utopia
Alright, it looks like that program may work. I'm just wondering how you make it happen. This is the Utopia boot disc, which as I'm sure you know, basically bypasses the region coding, allowing me to play US games on my Japanese DC.
How do I get this "Utopia.cdi" file from my desktop on my computer, to the disc in such a way that the DC will automatically play it when I boot up the system??
Every time I burn the file onto a disc the DC just doesn't recognize it. I've made about 12 coasters.

Re: Burning Utopia
Right, download and install Liquid CD (you can download it from the link in my last post.
Run Liquid CD.
Click the 'Others' button
Click 'Choose Disk Image'
Select the Utopia Boot disc that you have downloaded. (if the boot disc image is in a rar file. Then you will need to get unrarx to un-archive it.)
It should say 'one audio track, one data track' underneath the name of the disk image.

Re: Burning Utopia
I followed your steps and it didn't work completely. The only discrepancy I can see between your directions and my results is that when I selected the Utopia.cdi file underneath where it says the file name it read "0 Audio tracks, 2 data tracks".
Any idea about this circumstance?? : /

Re: Burning Utopia
Could be a different version of the utopia boot disk, what version are you using?
