I have a copy of Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle 4 for the GBC that I simply cannot get to boot. Since the shell is clear, I can see inside of it, and everything seems to be in order. There does, however, appear to be some light condensation behind the contacts, which makes me think it was submerged at some point. (The label is minty, however...)

I had a copy of LoZ: Oracle of Ages with the same issue (i.e., light condensation behind pins, not working), but I sold it as part of a "junk box" auction earlier this year. The winner of the auction was hopeful he could fix it, but I never found out if he was able to get it working.

I'd want this simply because the box art is beautiful!

Oh yeah that was about a Nintendo DS that someone bought a few pages back. The place where he purchased it kept it in a sealed baggy and after purchase he found out it had a cracked screen as well as other defects.

So far I have never had a cart based game fail on me even when they were in horrible shape.

The game works fine on my older DS. The broken one I bought is pretty grimy. I'm totally confident that the contacts will be fine after a good scrubbing. At best I'll clean it up and spend $10 on a cheap replacement screen off eBay and keep it as a back up. At worst, this will be an organ donor for the next busted DS that I'm sure I'll run across one day. I can't seem to bring myself to throw any of the broken video game stuff I come across in the trash. I've had situations where a year after giving up on a broken system or even controllers I have harvested parts to bring another one back to life.

This just popped up on my local craigslist, I have been wanting a candy cab since I got into cabs, and this is the last cab I want in my collection (already have 3 others) I think the price is ok, if he has some wiggle room it would be even better, but he says no game included, I dont know if that means no board at all, or just no cart to plug into the PCB. I am going to hit him up about it, if I can convince the wife a 4th cab would be a great idea haha. Is there anything about this model I should know about compared to other candy cabs like an Astro City (which seems to be more common?)

I'd buy it in a heartbeat. There might be wiggle room just because of where you are located (within a few hour drive of SF Bay and LA) where cabs are more plentiful, but in the midwest / south / or out east, that's a firm $600, and more likely $750.

By no game i'm sure he's just letting you know it doesn't have the Atomiswave MOBO. Atomis SD cabs are much more attractive and uncommon than Astros, which run about $150 less, assuming condition, etc are all comparable.

Ken at the gameroom sells them at $850 steady, plus shipping ($250-ish). http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sammy-ATOMISWAV ... 7675.l2557

I can not jump through this screen fast enough to shake you into buying it. Again, it's an absolute no-brainer for anyone west of Pacific Coast area.

Even though I did not get it went into a newbury comics that is closing down and looked at the video games and everything in the store is 20% off so a lot of stuff was still there. Found a copy of Mario 25th anniversary for the wii at 30.00. 20% off and its down 24.00. I asked the clerk if they can open it up to see if everything was there and sure enough it was still shrunk wrapped but not the game only the music cd  I told the lady that they got robbed because it was only the music cd and no game. So she was going to throw it away and I asked if I can have it and she said no. Oh well in the trash it went. I would have sold it here for real cheap.
