Re: How is your Dreamcast gaming going on?
Thought it'd be nice to have a list in this thread of all the Dreamcast releases that have been significantly translated or language-modified in the past few years:
Shenmue
Space Channel 5: Part 2
Frame Gride
Advanced Daisenryaku 2001
Super Puzzle Fighter II X
Fire Pro Wrestling D
Capcom Taisen Fan Disc
Any that I'm missing?

Hm? The games I listed are ISO's of games that function on a standard retail Dreamcast, modified by the fan community with translation patches and the like. I think that the ones I listed are all of the ones that fit that criteria in existence, though I'm not 100% certain I haven't forgotten any.RCBH928 wrote:through emulation roms? or original releases?

Re: How is your Dreamcast gaming going on?
I was looking to purchase Cannon Spike again and was shocked to see it going for around $75 on ebay. I just said F-it and bought the Japanese version from Yahoo Auctions for about $23
It seems I may have to start importing more Dreamcast games like I do for the Saturn. Obviously, Dreamcast is nowhere near the ridiculous prices of US Saturn games but I see the trend starting already for certain games.

For both Matching Service titles (Super Puzzle and Super Street Fighter IIX), I was under the impression that the english translation was an unlockable feature within the game that allows you to change the games region release, thus changing not only text to english but in Super Puzzles case, even the intro sequence to US presentation...

I have no idea. I just know that DCRes had released versions of both with "English Translation" in the title.CD AGES wrote:For both Matching Service titles (Super Puzzle and Super Street Fighter IIX), I was under the impression that the english translation was an unlockable feature within the game that allows you to change the games region release, thus changing not only text to english but in Super Puzzles case, even the intro sequence to US presentation...
