I didn't reup mine either. It's fun through the storyline/level cap though.

I'm actually considering reupping mine.. Made mouse over macros for quick healing and the game was extremely fun for me previous to quitting..

my plan is basically "play during the free 30 day trial and see if I like it enough to pay beyond that." I've only played like an hour so far, and most of that time was creating a character, cut-scenes, and tutorial. So I honestly have no opinion thus far.

30 days is enough time to get through the story (so far) if you're inclined.

There are a lot of throwbacks in it. Enjoy the music the first time you get on an airship =P

(that said, probably a good third to half of the mobs are "HD" versions of FFXI ones, which is either effective reuse of assets, or lazy, depending on how cynical I am on a given day )

Not sure offhand, though you would need to put a good amount of time in. Took me longer because I abhor pickups, so I'd just wait for LS/FC folks to do them with, and wound up leveling multiple jobs to try and be useful.
