If 50 eps is long then FMA:Brotherhood.

One Piece is incredible and very, very long. 625 episodes and counting.Valkyrie-Favor wrote:Anyone know of long-form anime that don't suck? 40, 50, 100 episodes. A long, involved, awesome story.

Hajime no Ippo (aka The Fighting Spirit) is my pick for "high quality longer series." It's one of the few longer titles I can recommend without any reservations. Even if you don't care about boxing or sports, I think it's totally enjoyable throughout.
(As much as I loved FMA: Brotherhood, the first 13 or so episodes are kind of sucky and the that can be a stumbling point for some people.)

If you want something really mellow and relaxing, watch Hidamari Sketch. If you haven't already.Michi wrote:I needed something more mellow to watch, so I started re-watching Maria-sama ga Miteru. With the exception of the bit of melodrama in season 2 it's probably one of the most relaxing shows I've ever watched.
Just started that one and man, it might be too mellow even for me.

Yea. If you want relaxed and mostly peaceful and calming I'd vote Aria. Hidamari is pretty decent for that too.
Up to ep 20 in Monogatari Second Season. At this point I've got to admit that I may be growing tired of the series.

Is it the Kaiki episodes?
I want to see just one story of Araragi and Senjougahara interacting with oddities.

Nope. Haven't seen Kaiki yet. I think it's the fact that some of the gags get old now that I've seen almost 50 episodes of the series. And by this point the lack of decent story is becoming harmful. The quirky cast is still enjoyable.. Some aspects just get stale. Like how many times do I have to see Koyomi get a boner for a little girl, molest Mayoi (even though she's technically older than all the girls except Shinobu), and what not. I'd also like more Karen. She's probably my favorite. I wish we got more of adult Hachikuji.

I'm not sure if this request is kosher, but I'm not really sure where else to post this.
I'm not really into anime, but one that I really liked is Silent Mobius. My main problem with the anime is its ending. It ends right before the final battle. I read later that there was a sequel manga (Silent Mobius Tales) that went untranslated. Apparently, this manga was supposed to be translated in Udon's release of the Silent Mobius manga. Unfortunately, Udon hasn't finished their release and haven't even touched the series for about two years.
Now, here's my request: Since Udon's not likely to translate Tales, does anyone here know if a scanlation is available? I've searched around and couldn't find one. Then again, I don't really know where to look. Also, I've read a bit on a third Silent Mobius movie. To my knowledge, there were two OVAs in the early nineties. I've never heard about a third film until a little bit ago. Apparently, this film takes place after the events of the anime. So does anyone know if what I've recently read is true and if I can somehow acquire this film?
Thanks to anyone who can help,

I tried to get into Silent Mobius but it just didn't do anything for me. The fact that the anime basically has no ending makes me feel a bit better for not watching it to the end.
