No full games.

So, think of this like Wario Ware but with retro titles. Basically, you earn access to games which then have Wario Ware-esque challenges, which you use to earn stars ala-Angry Birds. You use stars to unlock new "Remixes" which are particularly difficult remasters of levels from classic games with added mechanics and different graphics. You also earn pixely "Bit" coin things and unlock stamps ala Mario 3D World.

It's really really fun. I'm still not certain it's worth the $15. I need to spend more time with it. Been playing for about 15 minutes so far.

Everyone just hold on a minute.

It is $13AUD in the Aus eShop. Are you saying Nintendo inflated something in favor of Australians for once.......get the $#$% out of here.

The Yoshi's Island Free DLC for Sonic looks decent, still need to wait until the game is a bit cheaper before I jump on it though.

I feel like at this point there's probably never going to be an announcement (or enough cumulative ones) to make me buy a Wii U while it is a current system :(

The new Mario is enticing, but I feel like the system still lacks the kind of non-Nintendo, retro-oriented (or experimental) titles that make the Wii library so fun (light gun ports, solid retro collections, Boom Blox, No More Heroes, The Last Story, etc.). Other than Nintendo IPs and ports of games for other current consoles, what's coming?

uh... Bayonetta 2? It's highly unlikely that it'll ever get ported to any other systems, as Nintendo's funding its development. That's all I know of, Hopefully E3 will announce something more interesting.

Yeah the Wii U is in a dire situation, and given the nature of this sort of thing I'm not sure how it's going to turn around at all. I think the best anyone can reasonably hope for right now is that Nintendo manages to at least turn it into something Gamecube-esque sales and software wise.

I bought a Wii U because I am a fan of Nintendo's IPs and feel that they still consistently deliver quality in their own titles. I bought it also fully aware that it'll likely be very slim pickings outside of those titles. I'm happy with my purchase.

I will say that Mario 3D World is absolutely phenomenal and would strongly recommend picking it up as one of the first titles if/when you get the system, even if you don't bother with it until after it's been phased out by whatever its successor ends up being.

Yeah, I am interested in Bayonetta 2 but that is clearly in development hell at this point, which makes me nervous for its quality when released (i found the first Bayonetta a pale shadow of the games that informed it). Still, maybe if that one gets strong reviews I'll come around...

Is it? I mean I know there hasn't been much news, but I haven't heard anything along the lines of difficulties or delays happening.

If there's no new news about it come e3 then I'd start worrying.
