Been wanting it for a while so when I saw it mixed in with some new games they put out I did a little celebratory dance inside. Almost bought it for black friday but I'm glad I waited got it for $5.33 after B2G1.

Was excited to find .Hack as well was really hoping that they had more games in the series, but whoever brought it in must have only bought part 1 like I did :P. Bought part 1 used about a year after release and only recently found part 2 loose.

Edit:

And end up getting nervous when it comes to testing the rest
He was referring to the DSi being used as a GBA. But if you cant get an NES cart to work with thorough cleaning its time to retin.
Oh yeah that was about a Nintendo DS that someone bought a few pages back. The place where he purchased it kept it in a sealed baggy and after purchase he found out it had a cracked screen as well as other defects.

So far I have never had a cart based game fail on me even when they were in horrible shape.

I've had two loved but not abused GB carts that would display the title but crash starting a game and two Gen carts that looked totally mint inside and out that refused to work at all pass through my hands. I figure they got static zapped or something.

One of my copies of Contra was from a barn and some of the contacts are black. Despite cleaning it multiple times, it only works about half the time. I also have a copy of Battletoads that no matter what I do it will not work, and that came from a store.

A nearly dry green scrubby sponge is not as abrasive as sandpaper and might help. I removed a fair bit of green from some garage 2600 carts and got them going without totally destroying the gold plating.

I had a Mario Kart fail on me once (SNES) Garbled graphics. It was suggested that it was a bad capacitor.

I've had a copy of Metroid: Zero Mission on GBA that absolutely will not boot no matter how much I try to clean it. No garbled "Nintendo" logo, nothing. The systems I try it on (both a regular GBA and a GBPlayer) all act like it's not even there.

I once asked Vic Ireland if the guide offer in the back of Popful Mail was still good.

He took my question seriously and answered something to the effect of "Uhm no."
