Lol My son gave me an early xmas gift

So tonight my oldest son just gave me an early xmas gift. He put it in a bag and everything. My xmas gift was his 3ds that I bought him last year . He tells me that he never plays it and that I should have it. Plus he's all amped up because he knows his grandfather has got him a ps4 for xmas.
Now I don't know what to do with this thing. I do have a cool library for this. Mario bros 1 and 2 and Mario 64 ds, and 3ds, Mario kart 7 and I think both boys has lego batman 2.
If I do get into this I want to try the street fighter for the 3ds. Ill look for some games but does anyone know any shmups or arcade style games for this of the top of your head. That's all I will look for now. Damn and I was content with the 360. Now I have to dip money into this.

Oh ack I know. I won't sell it or give it away. I am going to gamestop with him to buy a game for my 3ds but I want to know anything like the snes or genesis library like the gba had back in the day? I love 2d shmups and arcade and side scrollers also fighting games. I might get street fighter on the 3ds

I am kinda itching for a 3DS and I would grab the new Zelda in a snap. Of course I would also have to try RE Revelations too.

Since you like fighters

Maybe you should try the Dead or Alive game and see how it is, I loved DoA2.
There is a Blazblue and Tekken for it too. I don't know what shmups I would try yet if it were me.

Any way maybe find a few games that would be the boys back together too.

Shmups? Nano Assault and Star Fox 64 3D comes to mind.

Sega has released some of their older arcade games in the eShop recently, with 3D effects n' such. Space Harrier for example. The digital market on the thing might be worth a look either way with the kinds of games you're looking for.

O.k well I just downloaded the nes Zelda. I will buy the rest of the games you guys mentioned but after xmas.

Definitely try out Ace Combat. it can be had under 10 bucks and it is awesome and feels really natural and perfect on the 3DS. It is my 2nd favorite game next to Mario Kart 7
