Very impressive Michi, that little spot you have a is a gold mine. That puts the $15 I paid for my MM5 to shame hahaha!

Yeah those are some awesome finds. Can't even find a SNES or NES sports game around here for any less then $5 :P.

I kind of hate you right now. Kidding. That is one hell of a nice pick up. I mean REALLY good stuff there. Congrats.

Yeah, I'm jealous of those Gargoyle's Quest and Darkwing Duck gets. Nice haul, Meech.

So, today I was going to come home from work and not do anything related to looking for video game stuff. I got that itch about a half hour after being home and felt the need to rummage through the thrift stores (I'm definitely an addict). I had to go because I have been finding good stuff every time I get that feeling lately. I came up empty until my last stop. I found 2 colored N64s for $20 each. Not the best deal but worth it for me as I have never come across the colored systems and finding 2 at the same store seemed pretty amazing to me. They both work and are in really nice condition except one is missing the expansion pak cover. These will be staying in my collection. I though it was an even better day when I found a DS Lite in a plastic baggie for $13 but this store has a habit of being intentionally deceptive and putting defective items in baggies (so you can't inspect them) and not selling them if you open them up. I was able to see that it powered on through the baggie but couldn't open the system to check the screens. I gambled and lost. The top screen is cracked. Otherwise, it works and will clean up fine. It shouldn't be too hard or expensive to replace the screen but I hate working on modern handhelds because I have big ass banana hands. Next time I'll be opening all baggies at the register before I pay.

Or a really fancy paperweight...I spoke too soon. It doesn't read carts either. At least it will be a nice training project. I've never worked on a DS before so here a chance to get familiar with it. :?
