CGR is leaving Youtube

I hate Smash as much as the next guy (hate even more that fanboys consider it a real fighting game to be measured against the greats of all time, but i don't wanna go down that rabbit hole anymore.)
But to not consider it for a 'definitive' N64 title because you have personal bias against it, is silly. Measured against other party-style brawlers out there, especially at the time it was released, it clearly stands head and shoulders above the rest AND pleased nintendo's mass of rabid fanboys who wanted to see their fave characters square off against each other, all at the same time.

Yeah I am the opposite. I usually get bored and dont care for most fighters, but Smash was a blast with a group of friends. Solo though... meh.

They really should focus more on the game levels mode (whatever it's called). It's a great idea, but executed so lazily. That would give it a bit more single-player appeal.

funfact: Subspace Emissary in Brawl (which is what you're referring to I think) was largely comprised of recycled levels from a scrapped Kirby game.

I was actually talking about Melee. I haven't played Brawl. The very basic platforming stages.

@Mike - As I've understood the situation: Youtube has been wantonly flagging content from partnered channels for removal, or for monetization review. While under monetization review, "youtubers" are unable to receive ad revenue for views on flagged videos. Mark of CGR no longer posts the main channel's reviews to youtube, and now posts the entire CGR family's videos on Dailymotion.


Will now give my reviews:

Dave - 1/10 - Forgettable performance. Was he on page 6? Page 18? I can't remember. Left just enough of an impression to remind me he was there at all.

Damm - 2/10 - DAMN! Check out that fly hat!

Noise - 3/10 - Some good jabs, but never really struck below the belt. Too coherent. I needed more "belligerent" from him.

Racketman - R/50^n - One never forgets that time when Racketman..., even if he wasn't.

girlgamer - 8/10 - I didn't really know who she was. Now I know her as, 'The one who hates RPGs because— I don't know,' and I believed her. I believed that she didn't know why she hated those things.

Luke - 10/10 - Luke is a stud at this game. I'm not sure what game it is, but I'm pretty sure he does. What a thing has done. A-++G+-
