I bought 1+2+3 from GOG. I hope there is like HD texture update or something. I also hope it works with 360 controller.
Not sure if it will be enjoyable experience playing in a 13 inch screen(laptop) .
Any one know which game was it , the one where the butler follows you to the backyard while you train?
@gamerforlife
I know what you mean, but time has passed and this is a retro forum where you play older games.
Best of Series: Tomb Raider
Re: Best of Series: Tomb Raider
It's the second one, I'm pretty sure.
Re: Best of Series: Tomb Raider
Since I have had the pleasure to have already played it. I am going to go ahead and say that the upcoming Tomb Raider by Squaresoft is my favorite Tomb Raider game. It brings the best realism, controls, and lone hero feel that the prior games all had strived for. I can't wait to play this one all the way through.
P.S. Lets see if Lauras sister is as hot as her (i'm guessing she isn't but imagine if she was!)

are you talking about the one showed in E3 that looks a lot like uncharted?

I played the original on the PC. 3DFX ruled. That was a cool game to watch someone else play too, simply because we had never seen something like that before.
Re: Best of Series: Tomb Raider
Quite interesting to read that someone has not played a TR but i envy you as you could play them all from the beginning which is quite an experience that i have not felt again playing anything since,i have spent many a hour playing these games and only missed one The Angel Of Darkness PS2 but i have heard it is pants anyway. In my opinion the original was a classic with the best game title music i have heard -it just changed 3rd person games breaking new ground with graphics and detail,it actually looked and felt you was in a cave or swimming, the best TR`s in my opinion-
1.Tomb Raider
2.Tomb Raider - The Last Revelation (TR 4)
3.Tomb Raider II
It will be a mixture of pleasure and pain which ever you play but that`s the relationship you get with Lara but it is very satisfying when you complete a TR game, all i can add to finish really is that TR III is the one that got me the angriest and i am real good at them so prepare for a rough time with it and do not play it first as it will punish you if you are new to TR games.

aaaaaah yes. That was a major problem for me as a kid, cause I went and bought TR III and I was amazed I was able to beat the first 3 levels.....that game was HARD. The level skip code did little to ease the pain, since every single level I tried I had to give up cause of how hard it was to find my way around....
Still the Croft manor had a dune bike track in it

Back in the 90s, I bought a Rendition 3D accelerated video card (not 3DFX) specifically to play Tomb Raider with better graphics...and it did not disappoint. I used to love making Lara swan dive off some cliff and crack her neck at the bottom. What does that say about me?

Isn't that how people spend 90% of their time playing Tomb Raider, regardless if they are doing it on purpose or not?

Re: Best of Series: Tomb Raider
we don't seem to have a dedicated thread for the new TR, but damn! It's awesome! I started it up over the weekend. And I had guessed, I would have said I've put 5 or 6 hrs in. But Steam says I've played 10 already! It's that awesome.
I'm glad I got it in that big TR bundle as well, cuz now I'm going to be interested in checking out the other games that Crystal Dynamics made.
