Games Acquired 2013
Re: Games Acquired 2013
Those games always look amazing on a shelf to me for some reason. What do you use to play them on, cmvs? Is Wind Jammers on the 161-1 because that is definitely a must play.

Very pretty. And you have all the ones I'd go for first, if I had the money to collect Neo Geo: The Metal Slug series, Aero Fighters 1 & 2, and Magician Lord. I'd also go for the Sengoku games.
I'm not as big on SNK's fighters as most SNK fans. I think they did a damn good job in other categories, and should have lessened the focus a tad off the fighting games. (I STILL would KILL for a Crystalis 2).

Right now I have a Supergun and a 1 slot 1fz board, I ordered one of christophs awesome CMVS's a few months ago. Hopefully it arrive soon. Windjammers, Magician Lord, and Shock Troopers are not on the 161 in 1 so those are must gets.flex wood wrote:Those games always look amazing on a shelf to me for some reason. Re: Games Acquired 2013
Yeah fighters are my least favorite SNK games.
I like their platformers, shmups, sports games, and the few RPGs.
I really only want two more AES titles, then I'm switching to MVS for good.

Very nice! I love that you have your acquisitions broken down by system.
.....
A forum purchase, insane holiday sales at my local pawn shops, and mark downs on most Wii games at Gamestop has resulted in a big month for me. While I have not received any amazing deals, I have received a lot of very good ones, and my PS3 collection has really ballooned this month. (Also, the number of PS3 games I am seeking to add to my collection (109) dipped below the number of PS1 games I am seeking to add to my collection (126) for the first time. It will be interesting to see which collection I complete first...)
Since the holidays are approaching, I do not expect that I will do much video game hunting for the rest of the year. I will probably receive a few games as gifts, however, and I will be sure to include them in my final update. (I will also try to break down my stats in more detail at the end of the year.)

Total Games - 822; Total Cost - $3062
Average Game Cost - $3.73
