I am violently ill today. Tried to sleep and couldn't. I'm in the bathroom, sitting on the toilet with a bucket at my feet, plus a jug of water and my laptop on the counter.

How many of you guys have experienced diarrhea and nausea at the same time? It really is an interesting sensation.

I have. In my case the toilet was close enough to the tub that I didn't bother with a bucket.

I've always thought it would be an odd sensation to be excreting as many things as possible from as many orifices at the same time. Like puking + pooping + pissing + crying + blowing nose + bleeding (perhaps from an ear) all at the same time. I'd not like to do it for long, but I feel it would be an interesting sensation.

On Thanksgiving I had one too many beers and one too many pieces of pie and that put me in a similar situation.

Still fresh enough in my mind that the idea of both cherry pie and/or beer just make me want to puke.

Though I also want to give the cranberry sauce a shout-out because I'm pretty sure that's what gave me the shits.

Few years ago around the holidays celebrated with some greasy homemade tacos, topped those off with the better part of a 5th of Jim Beam chased with soda, then just straight, and finished off the night with a slice of pizza sprinkled with hot sauce washed down with four Natty Ice's.

Wish I have just gone in the shower and had it out, but the double trouble churned up a few more times that afternoon so I spent most of that time hovered over the toilet one way or the other. Never again.... will I eat such greasy tacos or put hot sauce on pizza.

Hot sauce on pizza is amazing. Just don't combine it with greasy tacos, cheap beer, and whiskey.

No. No, you don't. I have been so sick before that I did all of that except bleed, and it was the most excruciatingly painful and horrid feeling. Such things we should not do.

No. No, you don't. I have been so sick before that I did all of that except bleed, and it was the most excruciatingly painful and horrid feeling. Such things we should not do.

I once had the proper combination of both food and alcohol poisoning that resulted in something similar. (You would think that massive amounts of alcohol would have killed whatever bacteria gave me food poisoning...but you would be wrong.) I was definitely doing four of the things listed above. Moreover, since my condition was the culmination of a very big night out, I am pretty sure I was bleeding somewhere, and since it was so painful, I was probably crying too. I would not recommend it.

I don't know if its the Christmas pissies or what, we've had a couple of rough threads in the last week.

I'm really aggravated by the fact that only one side of my nose is clogged, leaving me to breathe awkwardly through only one side. Its so strange.

One year my entire apartment building got "The Sickness, aka, The Crud" and it was terrible. I also did the toilet tub combo and had stomach pain so terrible I couldn't sleep. I remember thinking to myself "Where is all of this, this stuff coming from? My body should have been empty days ago". Eating was a futile effort as I couldn't keep down a saltine. I'd take a broken nose over The Crud.
