Thanks dude. :)

My post was kinda bleak, but I'm a happy camper these days, that's the truth.
No worries here, man. My ex-girlfriend is pregnant and planning her wedding with the former roommate she left me for. I heard through friends who see her Facebook page.

But fuck that, I don't have anything to do with her, and my girlfriend and I have now been dating for a year. The sex is much better, and I don't feel like I have a goddamn leech stuck to me.

Fuck that indeed!

Sounds you like you're a happy man as well, and that's awesome. Congratulations on the one year mark!

New beginnings. Feels good. :D

:) : Been with my girlfriend 8 years as of yesterday.
:( : Didn't actually spend any time together as she had to stay at work for 3 hours later than normal to discuss one way traffic systems in Slough. Needless to say, she was even less thrilled than I was.

:( Didn't sleep Tuesday night, but...

:) It meant I didn't sleep the day away. First we went to the post office (which is pretty far away) and checked out a thrift store while taking a different way back. Why? To stop at storage. I managed to get two shirts of mine (my blue Adventure Time shirt and my black Death Records shirt) and a few books (one of which, titled "Ready Player One", I started reading that night).

:( But couldn't find my jeans or my hoodie, and same goes for my GTXpress Redi Set Go. I also couldn't get to my DVDs.

:D Late that day we went with my brother's ex and her grandma to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

:( Unfortunately, it was on the ONE night of the week they DON'T do Fantasmic OR the seasonal event, the Osbourne Lights.

:) I got to do my own thing, so I checked out MuppetVision 3D (liked it), the arcade at Pizza Planet (only got a dollar in quarters since I wanted to do other things and didn't want to just play video games) and played Tank! Tank! Tank! (and came in 3rd place of 4), and finally checked out Star Tours.

:) Got paid today, and decided to get an all-day bus pass and checked out the two thrift stores near Vista Del Lago and picked up a few used books (including Kurt Vonnegut's "Bluebeard", the first book in a "Starcraft" series, the Edward Lee/Richard Laymon/Jack Ketchum collaboration "Triage", an X-Men novel and a horror novel called "Wet Bones") and a used DVD copy of a Dresden Dolls concert from 2005 (it was a legit release). Also checked out the new flea market (kinda meh), got a Hot n Spicy McChicken from McDonalds (the one that's closer by doesn't have the Hot n Spicy one anymore) and Walgreens before I went to Target (took the bus) and then the Dollar Tree. Waited a while for the bus (by then it got darker and kinda chilly) and got home. Put my groceries away and then went back out (took the bus both ways despite being much closer than Target) to check the RedBox machines at Walgreens and WinnDixie (my mom asked me to buy some bananas for the girls, and I also snagged a store-brand 2-liter cherry limeade). Rented "Man of Steel" and "The To-Do List", and apparently they had a deal where I could have also rented a video game for free (but that machine had nothing I wanted  ). Popped into Taco Bell to grab a small MtDew Baja Blast (sucks that it's only at Taco Bell), which costs $1.70 after tax (WTF?!?!?!) and then waited for the bus for a half-hour in much chillier weather (still had shorts but at least I had my hoodie).

I've thought about reading this for a while, but never find the time to read fiction. Thought about getting the book on tape too, but heard rumors there will be a movie which I'd def want to watch.

I'm waiting for the version where James Spader comes to my house, perches on the end of my bed, and reads it to me while I sleep.

Smile: Every Holiday Season, when it is actually cold in Eastern NC, I like to purchase the Salvation Army bell-ringers a cup of coffee or hot cocoa. Coffee is cheap, and the volunteers react like you just gave them a hundred dollar bill. The only set-back is that now I have earned a new nickname in the Salvation Army circle, "Mr. Coffee".

Hey, at least I'm not being called "Mr. Pretzel" anymore.

I do this too, though because it's not generally as cold down here, I'll often get them a bottle of water and a candybar.
