What free games has Sony given recently again? Oh yeah, GRID 2? Borderlands 2? Battlefield 3? LOL. When it comes to free games, I think Sony has that one covered.

In this case Phades was responding to the dsh getting $10 for waiting on hold and how Microsoft was giving away copies of Xbox One titles to users that came in to the store with a bum console. Dave had to take his PS4 to a Sony store and as far as I know didn't get a game for his trouble.

No, but I did get the $10 PSN code that came with that bum console + the $10 credit they offered me (+ the $10 credit with the working PS4). All in all I ended up with $30 PSN credit out of the whole ordeal...

That's great that you got $10 credit twice. The Microsoft deal edges it out, but they've got more to worry about with rep than Sony in the reliable console dept.

Dont forget when Sony network went down a couple years back we got a total of four free games and a month of free PSN. I have also got a 20 dollar discount on a year of PSN, and ten bucks back twice for re-upping for a year.

Sony as a whole goes out of there way to help out its customers. There was something causing a Vita download game I bought to crash. They actually refunded my money on the game. A REFUND ON A DIGITAL PURCHASE!!!!!

Sony has the most incredible customer service. The most incredible online service. Microsoft is not even in the same league with them. I have more free games than some people have games in the PS3 collections. The sales are incredible also, discounts all the time. Sorry people but if you can argue that Microsoft has better customer service, then I have to believe that you have never dealt with Sony at all.

My point was simply to respond to the "yet another reason to ditch Microsoft" as being absurd in this context.

I'm most interested in trying out Resogun and Lego Marvel Super Heroes, but will probably also try out Knack, Trine 2 Complete Story, and Contrast

I'm also looking forward to playing Doki Doki Universe (which I purchased on the Vita) and Flower on the PS4.

Honestly, there's not a ton of great stuff on the PS 4, but I'm looking forward to what's to come, particularly stuff from SquareEnix. Might as well just get one now, as I'm sure there will be some cool stuff in 2014

A phone rep told me they were re-stocking but advised I be there when they open the store if I wanted one before they sold out

So I went to Target just before it opened, only to find out that they had handed out tickets for all available PS4 consoles to a bunch of people who were already waiting outside and they had no idea when they would be getting more in stock. Seems kind of unfair that people get to lay claim to a product before the store is even open to the public, but I guess that's just how things work, because it was the same thing at the Gamestop I went to afterward. They weren't open, but they were handing out reserve tickets to people standing outside. They only had about 4 systems and I got the last ticket. Though someone gave their ticket back after finding out that someone she knew had found a PS4 at another store, so I ended up having the second to last ticket and had to wait an hour and a half for Gamestop to open

While waiting outside and talking to the other people, I mentioned the Xbox One and it's interesting what I heard. Apparently, no one they knew was getting an Xbox One or even wanted one. From what they've seen and heard, everyone's getting a PS 4. One lady said she's been trying for a while to get a PS4 as most of the stores in the area were out of stock. She said she's seen plenty of Xbox Ones in stock at various stores though, but no one seems to want them. They offered her one at one store and she refused. Then a guy showed up with an Xbox One that wasn't working and he wanted to return it. When he found out we were all waiting for PS4s he asked if anybody's been getting the Xbox One, and everyone just sort of went quiet. The guy kind of looked like he might be having some buyer's remorse.

I don't know what it's like in the rest of the country, but at least where I live down in Florida the Xbox One doesn't seem very popular. Anyway, I picked up Assassin's Creed Black Flag and Lego Marvel Super Heroes. I'm gonna go and download Resogun too
