It's not often that Sony does something that doesn't give me a reason to mock them. They are pretty notorious for poor customer service, so it is especially surprising. They get a thumbs up on that one though.

Unless, of course, my suspicions are correct, and dsheinem is indeed a Sony/Microsoft PR double agent.

So Sony just called me out of the blue since my number was one that had been on hold with their tech support line for so long at the PS4 launch (I waited on hold for something like 90 minutes to discuss my DOA PS4 before hanging up/giving up). They just wanted to apologize, to make sure all was resolved, and to let me know that they would be adding $10 credit to my PSN Wallet. Very cool of them.

Next time they have long wait times I am gonna call to sit on hold for hours LOL. Amazing, another reason to ditch Microsoft.

Really? You would sit in the phone on hold for $7.50 an hour in PSN credit? Sounds like a private hell to me.

That is what speaker phone is for. Turn it on and play some games while jamming to elevator music. Good times, good times my man.

And I'd bet the only reason Sony did this is because of the PS4 launch. They probably normally don't give out credit like that.

That's probably true but you can't blame PR for trying to make their patrons happy. Also, I've never had to wait more than 15 min in the many times I've called Sony.

I've been loving the headphone jack myself. My headphones are better than anything my TV can put out through the built-in speakers.

I've been using this feature since day one. With a new baby, I only get to play games late at night, and then I don't want to wake him up with sound. So I slap in a good set of headphones, and I'm off!

LOL. Nothing like the free Assassin's Creed 2 you get with the XBOX Live Gold....
What free games has Sony given recently again? Oh yeah, GRID 2? Borderlands 2? Battlefield 3? LOL. When it comes to free games, I think Sony has that one covered.

Microsoft will catch up with the free game thing eventually. At least I hope so. Either that or Sony will give us less good stuff eventually. But I can't see this disparity lasting forever.
