Isn't tranny just abbreviated like it is for a transmission or hammy foe a hamstring? Tranny being offensive is a bit over the top sensitive.

The trans community considers it a slur.

Every marginalized group tabbing certain words as blanket slurs or being offensive is distasteful to me. Words aren't shit without meaning or context behind them.

I feel everyone, not just marginalized minorities, take more and more offense at things each year. The list of words increases. Then the term changes but the same meaning or hate is behind it so that word is now offensive. Constant cycle, but labeling words as taboo is pointless.
