Can no longer view forum in normal format on mobile device?
Just within the past few days I have been unable to find the option to go to the classic site format when browsing on my Ipad it just forces me to use the mobile. Was something changed? I no longer se an option I swear it used to be at the bottom of the index page.

The forum software was upgraded. We're aware of the issue and trying to resolve it.ninjainspandex wrote:Just within the past few days I have been unable to find the option to go to the classic site format when browsing on my Ipad it just forces me to use the mobile. Ah I see, well is there a way to "view your posts" while in mobile? Thats the #1 reason the mobile version is useless to me
Edit nevermind figured it out its under the magnifying glass.
@jmustang are you using a browser that tricks sites into thinking its not on a mobile device? I think google chrome does that, I'm just using safari.

I actually really like the mobile view, but it's broken on whatever version of IE the Windows Phone 8 uses. (Not asking anyone to troubleshoot FYI, I know practically no one has a Windows Phone.)

Ok ok, I use it as a phone, occasional text messages, and to make sure I don't buy any game manuals I already own again and that's it. No internet ever.

The sad thing is the Windows Phone has the best UI out of the three. There's something to be said for simplicity. Too bad it came out so late so there's no app market; makes it hard to get people to pick it up.Stark wrote:I actually really like the mobile view, but it's broken on whatever version of IE the Windows Phone 8 uses.
